Bedrock Launches AI Headlines And AI Chapter Insights
CPG teams have never had more data, more dashboards, or more charts. What they don’t have is more time.
Every visualization still has to be read, interpreted, and translated into something a retailer can act on. Someone has to look at the chart, decide what it means, figure out what to do about it, and turn that into a story for the buyer. That work is manual, it varies by person, and it happens under deadline.
So we built two features that do that first read for you.
AI Headlines and AI Chapter Insights bring the takeaway to the top. The key finding on every chart, and a set of categorized recommendations on every storyline. Less time describing the data, more time acting on it.
AI Chapter Insights: The Recommendation, Before the First Chart
Across all storylines, each chapter now leads with a panel of AI-generated recommendation cards based on the data in that chapter. The takeaway is clear before you read a single visualization.
Every recommendation is sorted into one of four action types, so you immediately know what kind of move it is:

- Do More: where performance is working and deserves more investment
- Do Less: where effort is going to stagnant or low-return areas
- Optimize: where pricing, promotion, or strategy can be sharpened
- Maintain: where you’re leading and need to protect the position
Each card carries a short headline, a plain-language diagnosis of what’s happening, and a recommended action. Instead of starting from a blank chart and working toward a conclusion, you start with the conclusion and use the data to back it up.
The panel is expanded by default as you move into a storyline. Collapse it with the chevron when you want to focus on the charts, and Bedrock remembers your choice for next time.
AI Headlines: The Key Finding on Every Chart
Reading a chart is one thing. Saying what it means in a sentence a buyer will remember is another.
AI Headlines surface the key finding on any visualization to help you tell your best story. Bedrock reads the chart’s data and writes a clear, declarative headline above it – the kind of line you’d want at the top of a slide.
Turn headlines on with the sparkle icon. To shape them to your needs, open the dotted icon to bring up Regenerate AI Headlines:

From there you control:
- Style: Brief (one sentence), Standard (two sentences), or Detailed (three sentences)
- Length: a maximum of 10 to 40 words, set with a simple slider
- Additional context: an optional field to point the headline at a specific question or angle
Your settings are remembered as you move between visualizations and across sessions, so headlines come out in your preferred voice without resetting every time. Saved visualizations keep their own settings.
Best of all, headlines carry into your PowerPoint slide titles as editable text. The headline that frames the insight on screen becomes the title that frames it in your deck – ready to adjust in your own words before it reaches the buyer.
Why It Matters
Winning shelf space has never hinged on how much data a team has. It hinges on how quickly that data becomes a clear point of view.
Dashboards show what happened. AI Headlines and AI Chapter Insights move you straight to what it means and what to do next – the part of the workflow that usually eats the most time and depends the most on who’s doing the analysis. It’s the same shift we’ve been building toward with agentic AI: analytics that doesn’t just report, but recommends. The result is faster prep, more consistent stories across your team, and retailer conversations that hold up no matter who built the deck.
Available Now
Both features are live in the Bedrock platform today, and AI Headlines is available to all customers – not a premium add-on.
