$5M in Additional Funding = More Resources Coming to Bedrock Customers

Today marks a significant milestone for Bedrock as we announce additional funding of $5M. This earmarks a new stage for the company as we continue the path of transforming CPG brands with data insights, empower them with the tools to deliver compelling selling stories in their pitch for shelf space and grow their market shares.

We are proud to partner with Silicon Valley VC firms, Cervin Ventures and Illuminate Ventures, whose strong operating experience in the B2B software space is the perfect partnership we need to build momentum and grow our sales and marketing teams. Their continued belief in our vision has allowed us to accelerate our plans.

Companies with revenues ranging from $5M to $60B entrust Bedrock to transform the way they interact with retailers. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can now help harmonize data, drive insights and facilitate better decision making. But sales teams aren’t always equipped with the tools to digest that information, nor are they backed by enough analysts to decipher it for them. We level the playing field for sales teams by distilling complex data into simplicity. We use sophisticated technology to strip away the unnecessary to allow our users to tell their best stories within a few clicks.

After my career working in the CPG industry, it was clear that retail buyers were looking for specific, yet compelling, fact-based insights about the brands that they merchandise. They aren’t looking for generic dashboards or slides. We figured out what works and automate it for our customers.

I wanted to bridge the gap between complex data sets and CPG sales managers to empower them with the insights they need to deliver compelling stories in their retail pitches.

Looking Toward the Future
This latest investment is a vote of confidence that there is a larger belief in Bedrock as a disruptive force and is validation of the path we’ve set. Our underdog mentality is driving us to help our customers take on the impossible against industry giants and taking our vision of democratizing insights for any consumer goods company to create selling stories that will captivate & convince retailers.

We are currently heads down augmenting our engineering team with additional data science & machine learning talent that will increase our AI capabilities ​​with the most advanced tech infrastructure to deliver insights at lightspeeds in new and unexpected ways while speeding up and optimizing our data processing capabilities. We’re also eager to expand our ability to serve more customers via tripling the size of our customer success team. Lastly, we are growing our sales & business development teams to reach more of the industry.

Looking ahead, this funding will support our mission by fortifying the launch of our upcoming next-gen insight and content platform: Bedrock Insights and accelerating our multi-cloud infrastructure to best adapt to the needs of the world’s most sophisticated CPGs.
