Introducing Bedrock Studio: The App Store for CPG Analytics
Today we are launching Bedrock Studio, the app store for CPG analytics. Instead of one dashboard with a hundred metrics, Studio hands you a shelf of purpose-built apps, and each one does a specific job: build a buyer-ready deck, pitch a specific retailer, diagnose a velocity drop. The dashboard is the wrong unit of analytics. A dashboard makes you go find the answer. An app hands you the finished job.
What Bedrock Studio Is: A Dedicated App for Each Job
Studio is an in-platform catalog of purpose-built apps, living right inside the Bedrock platform you already use. A dashboard is a room full of instruments that answers no single question. You configure. You cross-reference. You export. You interpret. Then, maybe, you decide. An app collapses that into one step.
Each app is built around one decision a CPG team actually makes, with the category logic already wired in. Every app runs on your own licensed syndicated data and other sources, so the output is decision-ready the moment you open it. These are not blank charts waiting for you to configure them. The data is yours, the category logic is built, and the app is aimed at a real job. You open it, and the work is done, not started.
The Catalog: A Purpose-Built App for Every Job
Bedrock Studio launches with a library of apps, each named for the job it does, not the data it holds. Every customer starts with a custom app our in-house app developers builds for you: one app aimed squarely at your biggest opportunity in retail. From there, the rest of the app library is on you.
- Where to Win turns your where-to-play questions into buyer-ready stories, showing which markets, retailers, and segments to press.
- Where to Grow finds the pockets of demand you are under-serving and sizes the upside.
- Disco Risk catches products heading for discontinuation before the retailer flags them.
- Growth Engine maps where the category is moving and where the momentum is yours to take.
- Whitespace points to the white space where you can win, the gaps worth chasing before anyone else does.
- Launch Tracker follows a launch from shelf entry through ramp, measured against the category.
Studio also feeds our product roadmap. You may recall two apps that started here and graduated into platform-wide features: AI Headlines, which puts the key finding on every chart, and AI Chapter Insights, which gives you the recommendation before the first chart. They were the first proof that a Bedrock surface could hand you the conclusion instead of the raw material. Studio is where that idea becomes a catalog, and where the apps that prove themselves graduate into the platform for every customer.
How Studio Grows: Curated Today, Community Tomorrow
Studio is not a fixed set of apps. It is a platform, and it grows in phases.
- Curated (live today). A menu of purpose-built apps, each one configured to your business, your categories, and your data by the Bedrock team.
- Request an app (live today). Need a job that is not on the menu? Tell the Bedrock team, and they build a custom app for it.
- Build your own (coming soon). A self-serve app builder so your team can stand up its own apps directly.
- Ecosystem (the vision). Apps built by and for the whole CPG community, a shelf that grows far beyond what any one team could stock alone.
A dedicated app for each job, powered by your data, with new ones shipping every week.
Why It Matters
The app store model changes the CPG analytics workflow. For years, the industry sold the same thing under different names: a bigger dashboard, more metrics, another view. The problem was never access to data. It was the workflow. You still had to go find the answer, then build the story, then decide what to do. The tool stopped at the chart.
Studio is the point where Bedrock’s agentic AI aimed at the decision, not the dataset, stops being a vision and becomes something you open on a Tuesday afternoon before a buyer call. Traditional analytics keeps teams informed. Studio keeps teams moving. Every app carries the shift we have been describing all along, from answering to acting, from insight to execution, from data to direction.
The question was never “what happened.” The question is always “what do I do next.”
This is depth over novelty. There is a wave of tools promising you can spin up a generic app on your own, with no fit and no category logic behind it. But now you own the job of specifying the job. Fit beats flash. An app that knows what a velocity drop looks like in your category beats a generic canvas every time.
The advantage is not that you can build an app. It is that the right app is already built.
Available Now
Bedrock Studio is live in the Bedrock platform today, for every customer. The curated catalog is enabled, and request-an-app is open, so if the job you need is not on the shelf yet, you can ask the team to build it. Existing customers can open Studio in the platform today on the left hand navigation menu.

In the 48 hours after a quiet preview of Studio, four new customers signed with multi-year contracts, and one customer who had previously churned came back specifically for Studio. We had been growing fast but not that fast… We are not going to over-narrate that. But when a churned customer returns for a specific product, and new business lands in two days after a single demo, the product is clearly answering a question the market has been asking out loud.
Our goal was always simple: Less time describing the data, more time acting on it.
